Jesteś tutaj: Action & Recreation / Footbags & Hacky Sacks
The basic idea of this piece of sports equipment, according to tradition, comes from East Asia.
In the seventies two Americans -- John Stalberger and Mike Marshall -- picked up the issue again, by filling a sock with corn and kicking it back and forth. The Footbag is now a recognized sport, played with multi-panel balls filled with granules or sand. The amount of fill determines the rebound. For the freestyle game Footbags with only a little sand or granules are used, so they lie well on the foot.
When the game is played over a net (similar to badminton), fairly full Footbags are used.
